Some of these kids quit school for a reason like a serious family problem or a life long brain or physical injury. However most of these kids quit school for fun; to get out of school, and not do any work. Some of the kids even find it cool to quit school, but these kids do suffer a lot when they grow up and try to get a job.
How to Quit School
To quit school you must be at least the age of sixteen in Ontario. Some parts of Canada and most parts in USA have the legal age of eighteen to quit school. This is usually in the most populated regions because if a lot of students quit school the education system might fall apart. Ontario has also been thinking of making the legal age to quit school eighteen since it is the most populated in Canada. To quit school you have to sign some legal forms. If you want to quit school before the age of sixteen (or eighteen) you parents have to agree and the board has to agree and make sure you have a home education system till you are sixteen and of legal age to quit education.
Benefits of Quitting School
There are no real benefits of quitting school. The only benefits of quitting school are personal and entertaining and will not help you later on in your life. The entertaining reasons are there are no school, no homework, no education, and no work. None of these benefits are actually benefits they are just fun. The other reason to quit school is not really entertaining and makes a little bit of sense, and it is that if you don't do so well in school you can get out of school and get a job (obviously a hard job like labor) or start the training for a non education related job.
Disadvantages of Quitting School
There are many, many disadvantages of quitting school. You can never ever get a good job, a job that you have always wanted to do (unless you always wanted to do a bad job like labor.) If you get a bad job you will make much less money then you actually need to survive. You will end up living in a basement/apartment, have a bad car, and not get enough money for extra stuff. You could make hundreds of thousands of dollars more if you didn't quit school and got a good job. Even if you do badly in school you can still get a better job if you didn't quit school. Also it gets really hard to join college if you don't have a high school graduation.
How to Rejoin School
It is easy to rejoin school once you quit all you have to do is register again. But it gets really hard to join college. Most colleges require a high school graduation. If you want to
rejoin college you must find an alternative way maybe a high school for adults or a college and a course that doesn't require a high school graduation.
Conclusion
I would never ever quit school and I would never advise anyone to quit school. Quitting school might be fun for now but when you get older your life could get really hard. Some people even get bored at home and rejoin school because the can't find anything else to do, but quitting school in the first place is really not smart.
