The Academic Standards of Education

How can we uplift the quality of education? We should come up with a system that is sustainable to provide a students' desire for learning.

Since then, nothing has complicated- or complimented that Education is something that everybody should have. Education is for all. It is a right that everyone should exercise. Students enjoy school immensely, but there are some who have some interested whatsoever in school as such. There are many who kept in school only by their interest or maybe with particular study, or because of compulsory attendance. The lack of homogeneity of interests or maybe lack of interest at all of most students (especially in high school has made it necessary to change curricular guidance.

In this particular sense, we have to consider the students' individual differences. How can we come up with such idea that the students should be held to the same academic standards? I think that is far from beyond, from what the reality is. There are things I want to point out, first, to change curricular patterns, second, to lower arbitrary and artificial academic standards, third, to provide a wider variety of experiences suitable to an unselected group and fourth, to change teaching methods. These factors are merely necessary to all students. There is no need that the students should be held to the same academic standards. There "s no doubt that the school should be an experience enjoyable and profitable in its own right and the enjoyment of learning. Our goal is train students, prepare them to overcome responsibilities, and become good citizens.

We should come up with a vision that will provide for the students to become productive in the future. We should inculcate to our students that the school is a social institution that is responsive to our social needs, social pressures and social changes. The school meet the needs of the society as a whole. The long academic and social tradition of education cannot possibly be ignored, tradition does teach us lessons and we have learned from the past. The actual practices of learning must legitimately determine some of what education ought to be doing. There"s still a sort of vague classifications of students for instructional purposes according to their interests, their IQ, or maybe to their economic background. If we hold them to the same academic standards, there are many students who will left behind. We should set the students accordingly.

In this debate, most important of all, however, would seem to determined the aims and purposes largely in terms of those who will benefited it. Therefore, before we can set up standards, for the objectives of education, we must give a further detailed look at just “who are” the beneficiary of the same academic standards is trying to serve. We must look primarily in detail at problem of its nature, its needs and above all its value system. The purposes of education should be determined and established for students' needs, individually and socially. For only education offer something that not only meet the needs of every individual, but fits the culture of the students, thus, its arms, its objectives and program be most effectively carried out.
