Visual Education

The benefits of a visual education.

As times change and technology advances, so do the methods by which our children learn. In today's society, children learn more visually than ever before. The simple opening of textbooks is no longer as effective as it once was and leaves students yearning for more.

Teachers that are obligated to the archaic means of chalk and books are finding their classrooms unresponsive and uncooperative. Meanwhile, teachers authorized to modernize their teaching methods are now using educational programming within their classrooms to visually engage their students. These same teachers are discovering that, widely, there is more participation and interest in their classes after a short, fact infused documentary. Grades are also proving to be higher in classes willing to show documentaries than those which choose to disregard the advantages and benefits of the visual aid. Teachers are also finding students more eager to come to class and becoming more interactive in day-to-day lessons.

Despite the lowering of standards in our educational system, students are still overwhelmingly hungry for information and knowledge. The government has cut budgets across the board for schools and libraries in the United States. A financial hardship has been inflicted upon these institutions to the point where they can no longer progress and supply their students with the means to quickly obtain and retain the large amounts of information that will allow them to succeed in life.

In an effort to decrease the asperity incurred by these valuable institutions Learning Media of America is offering free educational DVDs to the schools and libraries across the country. While these educational DVDs are 100% free, regrettably, because of rising postage costs, Learning Media of America does request a small shipping and handling fee. These DVDs are also available to the general public looking to expand their knowledge and gain a greater understanding of people, events, and places around the world.

Learning Media of America provides narrative documentaries on subjects including, but certainly not limited to, US history, world history, space, Presidents, how our Government functions, world destinations and wildlife, famous explorers and inventors, rulers from across the planet, artists and musicians, to basics such as mathematics and hygiene. These documentaries are competitive with the documentaries displayed on popular networks. Learning Media of America has over five hundred titles and subjects and are constantly expanding their inventory.

Learning Media of America has an association with producers from around the world allowing for the production of quality educational programming that is as entertaining as it is informative. Get more information at Learning Media of America.
