It's going to take a lot of research to fully understand it's diagnosis and how it can be tracked in DNA of parents to see if their child carries the trait of developing a learning disability later on down the line. But parents who want to learn more have an even bigger role as activists and supporters and helping other parents deal with this because it's a comfort for the parents who are new to this to know they're not alone and there is support for what they're dealing with. I don't regret the obstacles I faced over the years, but I gained a new respect for myself and I hope that those who are like me will benefit from the resources out there to help them achieve success and to allow them to be who they want to be. My life has not been no different than the other person next to me with the exception I do learn things differently, but I am still special anyway and that goes for others like me as well.
