It has always been the subject of interest to know why the six or seven years old children couldnt find it easy to learn the math. The teachers found it hard to make them better at math. Analysts at Queensland University of Technology have found out that the cause for this problem was the difficult wording of the math exercise for the too young kids.
There was too much of a grammar and comprehensive passage that makes the problem difficult to understand for the kids. The seven year old kids are too young to comprehend English itself and how could they possibly solve the math problems. The words like they referring to many people at a time is not yet registered in their English. They can only understand he, she, it, that etc. but not these, they, etc.
These difficult wording for math was even tough for teachers at schools to make the students understand. The sentence structures were complex to recognize. So they just think that the students also understand it but find it difficult to solve exercises. But the real thing was that students are unable to comprehend the problem before attempting to solve.
