Youth the Future of America

If we do not invest in our youth than as a nation we are doomed. What can we do to strengthen our youth? One way is to make sure our taxes go to our schools.

If we do not invest in our youth than as a nation we are doomed. What can we do to strengthen our youth? One way is to make sure our taxes go to our schools.

Every year we hear of programs being cut in our schools cause of the lack of funds. It is very sad to hear of Liberal Arts, sports, and extra programs being cut. There is more to education than just academics. Our children need music programs and athletics. One day these children we neglect will be adults who will one day be future leaders of this country.

Although none of us believe in Adolf Hitler's ideals. He realized very early on that the youth of Germany was the key to the nations success. He spent part the nations resources to educate the youth to his way of thinking and beliefs. With that knowledge passed on they almost took over all of Europe. It took over 5 years of conflict to defeat them. As poor example as it is it shows what the youth of nation can do when motivated.

As some adults get older they don't see the need for their taxes to go into education cause their children are no longer in school. Our schools suffer not only with canceled programs but lack of resources. I know schools who ran out of paper and other supplies. They could not get anymore cause there was no room in the budget.

Every year we here of teachers being laid off or forced into retirement because of lack of funds.

Some teachers have left teaching for other fields cause of not being able to secure a teaching position. We have lost excellent teachers over the years. As a result less and less are going to college to become teachers. The passion some have had for teaching out youth is gone.

Our children are bored in school and some never finish but end up dropping out cause they don't see the value of a good education. Some of our schools are in poor condition. Some of the school buildings are so old that maintenance becomes more and more a problem. With some of the states not putting the tax money into new schools and facilities.

Our schools are large and over crowded. The children who need extra attention don't get it. Our schools will pass a child on to the next class and some cannot even read or write on a third grade level.

Parents today are faced with a huge task of raising money to send their children to better schools cause our public school system in many of our communities is inadequate. That doesn't even cover the cost of going to college. A good college education costs more than some houses.

If we want America to be great again we must put our youth first. The future of our nation depends on it. Its time America we make our nation great again. Lets invest in our youth.

During the sad history of public education in America, education and literacy has declined, and individuality breaking schooling has risen. Those who seek empowering the youth, the future of America, should stop robbing the adults to pay for the public indoctrination system and instead advocate its' destruction. A free market of education will serve their customers far better and for far less time and money than the Prussian-inspired abomination that today's youth is ground through today.
