December 31, 2006, Mr. Koffi Annan Secretary General of the United Nations Organizations created in San Francisco in 1946 will end his mandate and Mr. Kim Ban from Korea will take over his former function. The United Nations is an organizations which employs experts in peace and developed from varied fields of work. As a matter, the first agency of the United Nations was the International Labour Organization in Russia which closed in 1917 because of World War I.
Mr. Koffi Annan has made discussions on conflicts in Africa and in the world which were partly based on ethnic problems. Ethnicity is an area of study which is Ethnology the science of folklore. Ethnology has two parts in the word which are ethno and logy. This means that when you look at a ethnic group you have to take into account its ethics. There is a tendency for some people to put together ethics and aethetics. And this refers also to tradition and fashion. The tradition are from centuries ago and are followed from generations to generations. In Africa , there is a problem of written and oral tradition. There are not many historians who have wrote about Africa, so it is difficult to program the present and the future of Africa . Africa is still a continent where people are divided between country side and the city. Agriculture is productive there only for cash crops like tea and coffee.
Therefore, it is urgent to organize the African agriculture, because it is a loss not to take into account its nature which is so green and weather which is wonderful. They are few parts in the world which have a nice climate like in Africa . As we all know, it is important, to work hard and this demands many efforts from those who are interested in this field of work. In this sense, there is a need to promote African languages in order to communicate in this environment of tropical and equatorial weather.
