Even one cannot be eligible for karma (a puja done after the death of a person for the entrance into heaven according to the beliefs of the people). That’s why marriage is given that much of importance in one’s life. So neither a male nor a female can be considered complete without marriage. Wedding is not only the union of the two persons but also two families.
