9/11: What are We Supposed to Believe?

There are still unanswered questions and no one who is beyond doubt to answer.

There are many things we can't know for sure, such as whodunnit. But, it seems obvious that the FEMA report, the NIST report, the 9/11 Commision Report and stuff like Popular Mechanics are all very thinly disguised B.S. It seems almost as obvious that the buildings did not fall from fire or impact, but were assisted in some way. Beyond that, it gets much more speculative.

Dear author, you have NOT looked closely into this subject, and the "answers" you have found on the "internet" are misleading.

Please look up the legitimate sites that counter the nut-job sites you looked at. You will discover that you have been scammed.

The ultimate argument in this whole thing is: A vast conspiracy involving all sorts of powerful government spooks and dangerous thugs, have been casually exposed by a couple of college punks; without said college punks being eliminated; and, thousands of reporters around the world, who all hate George Bush, are sitting on the biggest story in WORLD HISTORY. You have got to be kidding me.

Also, as a final aside, the entire world saw the terrorists fly two airplanes into the WTC, on LIVE TV; also, Barbara Olson and the other passengers did NOT sit astride a missile shot into the Pentagon - they were in an airplane - sorry.

I am just telling you to learn to look at things more closely. For instance, in your reply you mentioned a B 52 hitting the Empire State building (I think it was in 1944), and this \\\"fact\\\" is widely quoted on the 911 Truth sites - but, the undeniable fact is that the B 52 was adopted in 1952 - hence the name...it was I believe a B 24 or B 25. You have to check your facts....

Well now, come on Calvin, everyone who has even casually looked at this KNOWS that the ONLY other factor the 911 Truthers claim, is that the government of the United States of American planted explosives in the Towers and blew them up!

The \\\"college kids\\\"?: It was a college kid and a few of his buddies who did the Loose Change video (I believe it was this video); and who are now engaged in making a revised version - making corrections to a few of their claims that they can no longer logically maintain.

Who am I? I am just a person who, in my lifetime, has been sucked into believing some things about which I later found I was scammed/conned into believing; and left me feeling like a fool. I am still a person who \\\"wants\\\" to believe, because I do not like knowing there are flakes, con-artists and nutcases out there who get their jollies off in getting their 15 minutes of fame by making a fool of me and millions of others.

When I first heard all this 911 Truth stuff, I too kinda wondered. Then I checked into it and found it was all a load of crap - it is also an insult to all those thousands of people who lost loved ones!

I am just saying to you: Look into it further - with a truly open mind.

And I say again, if the people in the government were willing to coldly murder thousands of innocent people, that college kid and his buddies would have been dead about 10 minutes after their expose first appeared on the internet!!!!

I used to think like Ed (hi, Mister Ed!). I really couldn't believe the US government would murder its own citizens. You know what convinced me that they had?

See, jet fuel burns black, as we all saw when the planes hit. Jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough to melt the steel skeleton of a skyscraper. You know what does? Thermite. Thermite is the explosive used in demolitions. What colour smoke does thermite give off?

What did we see belching out the towers as they colllapsed, right after the black jet-fuel smoke had dissipated?

Google 'thermite' and watch any videos you can find; once you've actually seen thermite in action, there is no mistaking it. There was a thermite in those towers and no way 'terrorists' put it there.

Also, but perhaps circumstantially, there is no way on Earth any outfit based in Afghanistan had the means or motive to attack the Twin Towers; to undertake an operation of that magnitude presupposes some James Bond-style supervillain with the resources of oh say... the Pentagon. I knew a British soldier who was in Afghanistan, at the Tora Bora seige. You know what they found? No super-villain lair, just empty caves and a lot of heroin; my friend was on the flame-thrower detail who burned the stuff. Finally, the most basic understanding of the history of the Taliban will tell anyone that they are, were and always have been pro-American; watch Rambo III to enjoy the sight of Sly Stallone putting them in power.

Now who needs to calm down? Take a breath, man. You believe that the US government would NOT murder thousands of their own people, right? So what was Vietnam if not ten years of slaughter inflicted by the US government on its own people? You think THIS administration is different, THIS set of leaders unique, compared to every other ruthless bunch of bastards who ever ran a country?

You're also suggesting that a gang of dusty Taliban nutters living in caves in Afghanistan abandoned their time-honoured hobby of oppressing their womenfolk to plot and execute an utterly pointless and suicidal attack on a distant foriegn power which had never been anything but an ally? I'm suggesting instead that anyone with the capability to plan such an attack would also realise it could only end in the obliteration of their own country by the USA's retaliation; it would be suicide.

On the other hand, the government has not only the means and opportunity to inflict a major terrorist event on its own people, the government also has the motive in that such an attack would massively increase anxiety and fear in the populace, prompting people to sacrifice civil rights in the name of 'protecting their freedom'. That's not a theory; that's what is actually happening.

I'd never actually heard about these supposed kids and their conspiracy video; all the reasoning I've given so far is my own.

What we're SUPPOSED to believe is "it was evil terrorists what done it, guv'nor."

What we're NOT supposed to believe is that bombing civillian buildings in any way helps the US assist the spreading of "Freedom and Democracy."
