Fairy Mythology

Just a bit of information regarding fairies and facts about their existence and what some beliefs are about them.

Fairy mythology, and facts about them today. Because of centuries ago and tales about fairy godmothers there is a lot that you need to know and find out about fairy’s and the mythology behind them. They are myth and yet still very much believed in even today, where things of myth are just stories. I myself still believe that fairy’s still exist.

Fairies are mythical creatures that are small and are winged. They have powers that connect to nature and that are powerful enough to seduce humans and trap them. Fairies also bring good luck, unlike pixies that are considered the joking and harmful kin to fairies. Fairies also can be very helpful.

One example of a Fairy that is considered a special fairy to have in the home is called a Brownie, she sleeps during the day and helps clean and organize the house by night. Although if the homeowners don’t try to keep things tidy she gets angry, and hides things and makes more of a mess. To thank the Brownie people would put out some flowers and milk and honey.

There are many other kinds of fairies, fairies are also used in tarot and oracle readings. With that you learn about not only the fairies but the powers that they possess. The meanings behind the fairy holidays, which are Celtic holidays. Fairies have come from the Celtic era and are still praised in Scotland and Ireland.
