The Meaning of Wedding Flowers

When you are arranging your special day, remember that all flowers have a meaning, and you can show your love or send a loving message just by using the right flower.

Flowers can have a vast array of meanings, usually accepted as a gift of love for the person to whom you present them too. However if you are getting married and you want your day to be special in every way, then why not make sure that your flowers express what you want to say on your special day of days.

First you decide what shape bouquet you want, then the colour scheme and then the most important part you decide what your flowers will say. For instance Arbutus: Thee only do I love. What a lovely way to tell your future husband that you can express even in the meaning of your flowers just how special he is to you and how much your really love him.

Red Camellia, with its romantic meaning of You're a flame in my heart add to this Baby's Breath: Meaning Innocence and you have a real sentimental floral display. Red Carnations mean my heart aches for you and you know how much this will mean to both of you on the big day. Another big favourite on wedding days are Roses: The different colours have different meanings so what about, The Red Rose this has been a gift of love for centuries it means Love, passion, respect, I love you, beauty, add Gloxinia and it means Love at first sight. Or perhaps you fancy something less traditional how about Ivy meaning wedded fidelity and marriage and love with Morning Glory meaning I love you and Orange Blossom meaning Eternal love.

There are so many variations of flowers that you can say anything you want with them, they their own individual message that can tell the world your meaning or can just be a secret between you.
