Francis is in his early 30's and a gay. But people do not know he is a gay because he is macho-looking and handsome. Girls fall for him and they expect him to reciprocate but could not tell them he is a gay. They text and call him, send emails; invite him to parties, etc. But Francis does not really feel any physical attraction towards opposite sex but with the same gender.
Since he was a teenager he preferred to be with the company of young and matured men. They do not have to be really handsome. Despite of this reality, he feels that women think of him as their ideal man so he remain nice and affectionate to them but he could not really stand the touch of a woman. Who made him what he is now? All his four brothers are straight guys. Psychologist, laymen and other professionals could not help him be the man he should be. In situation like this, there are many ways to show women you are not interested but continue to be nice and friendly with them. Women are fun to be with and as long as you are not showing indications that you are falling for them, there is no fake feeling or malice with it. You do not have to go and tell everyone that you are a gay and that you prefer boys over girls. When they ask you to go out and you would say you are busy, they cannot force you to go with them. When they text or call you, anytime you can make an excuse and promise to get back to them but do not. Surely these women would get your message after repetition of the same scenario. If they do not get the message and somehow succeed in trapping you for a date, show up with your friends or a male best friend but never come alone.
Maybe what worries Francis is that one day a woman would discover his true identity and sexual preference and shout it to the whole world. Actually worry not that the revelation would come from a woman but rather - there is a big chance that it would come from men who have known you intimately. It could also come from a friend or a lover whom you share your deepest dark secret. Remember that it is the people who know us so well who are capable of hurting us so deeply.
