Fascist Background

The Growing Group of USA middle-class poor.

The USA governments have never really broken away from fascism.

The Twenties and Thirties saw the temporary historically determined triumph of fascism in Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, USA, and elsewhere. Those ephemeral triumphs were luckily thwarted after the war, which choked the fascist organizations in Germany and Italy, but in Spain, Japan, and the USA, the dark shadow of fascism, for some reason, survived, primarily due to historic circumstances.

Fascist Falangista Caudillo Generalissimo Francisco Franco in Spain remained in power, died in glory, and was replaced by, of all things, a king, plunging the country back to medieval and monarchic times, glorifying pomp and aristocracy, and feeding continuous opposition and unrest, as recent experiences seem to indicate.

(Another Fascist Generalissimo, namely Chiang Kai-Shek, thanks to the support of the USA remained as an occupation power in Formosa, the “Taiwan” province of China.)

In Japan, Emperor Hiro Hito remained in power even after the war, and his family remained on the succession line of the imperial throne of Japan, as an aristocracy.

In the USA, a perhaps quasi-fascist military five star general, Dwight Eisenhower, combined presidential and military power on a religious political platform, under the motto “in god we trust”, that echoes the nazi slogan “gott mit uns” ('god with us'). He was supported by the perhaps quasi-nazi FBI agent Edgar Hoover, who had apparently established a worldwide climate of anticommunist terror.

The USA had indeed substituted themselves worldwide to the Nazi empire, by proclaiming “USA-vital-interests” around the globe, similarly to the Nazi motto “Deutchland-uber-alles” ('Germany-everywhere'). The USA applied a massive propaganda of oversimplifications, very similar to the Goering and Goebbels nazi political formulas.

The USA government spread also a Italian-fascism-style “Me-ne-frego” ('I-don't-give-a-damn') type of mentality amidst recruits and youth, forcing them into an anti-intellectual and reactionary posture, that naturally favors the maintenance of old privileges for the ruling class.

The fascist mode in the USA was never really overcome, and it continued its powerful advancement straight on from the Twenties and Thirties into the Forties and Fifties, and then into the Sixties and Seventies, with segregation and oppression of Blacks and submission of women, forced into passivity and multiple birth-giving.

Massive militarization, including atomic arsenals, characterized the development of the heavy industry in the USA. USA conglomerates took over the residuals of the nazi “I. G. Farben” industrial and chemical complex, imitating verbatim its international operations and control of resources.
