Battle of Bunker Hill

The Battle of Bunker Hill was a sort of win and loss of the Patriots.

The Battle of Bunker Hill was a sort of win and loss of the Patriots. Even though the Patriots had to retreat, the British still suffered more casualties. The Patriots were very low on gunpowder. They even used rocks and swung their guns like clubs!

The people of Boston, Massachusetts went to attack Fort Ticonderoga. They took over the fort and got a bunch of supplies. The other people were keeping the British in Boston. The commander said not to fire until they saw the whites of the red coats' eyes. The red coats had to retreat twice but on the third try the Patriots had lost all of their gunpowder and were using stones and swinging around their guns. Finally, the Americans were forced to retreat. Even though the won the battle, the British suffered twice the amount of deaths then the Americans did.

I think that the Battle of Bunker hill was very well planned out. It's too bad that the Americans had to retreat at the end though. It's hard to believe that the Americans actually threw rocks at the British. I think that the Battle of Bunker Hill was an American victory anyway.
