Differences Between Greece and Rome

Do you really know the differences? or are they pretty much the same country to you and their history.

  1. The Greeks collected their wheat from there farms and kept them within the city. The Romans would go out and trade their wheat, so therefore were more effective towards economy.
  2. Most people call the Greeks art, more superior compared to the Romans because the Romans lacked that skill to create good art like the Greeks.
  3. Romans were ruled by kings , then Mixed Republican form, and then by emperors. The Greeks were ruled by kings, oligarchy, and then democracy.
  4. The father of the Romans families were dominate in households. They decided if they wanted to keep the newborns or not. In Greece it was normal and people could keep there kids without the fathers decision.
  5. Rome had a natural bordered out hilly section around their city. The Greeks had cities separated by hills in between.

Andy if this is your analysis of Rome and Greece, well you don’t know much of anything. It sounds ignorant and juvenile….I hope (for your own sake) that you are just 12 years old.
