The turning point of his life was when he got a 1st class ticket and the people who ran the train made him ride in the storage part of the train. They did that because he was colored. He then knew he had to convince people to settle theyre differences and forgive each others actions. He had a lot of followers who supported his ideas.
Gandhi was a very popular man in his time and his ideas were very helpful to the community because they taught people to be more peaceful. He showed how peace would be a benefit to India.
