Gandhi

Information on Gandhi.

Gandhi was a man from India who convinced the world that violence wasn'’t the way to go, he showed how when you refrain from using violence, it was a good thing for the people. C. It took him a couple of years t get followers

He wasn'’t a rich man but he did get enough education to become a lawyer like he planned. The turning point of his life was when he got a 1st class ticket and the people who ran the train made him ride in the storage part of the train. They did that because he was colored. He then knew he had to convince people to settle they’re differences and forgive each others actions. He had a lot of followers who supported his ideas.

Gandhi was a very popular man in his time and his ideas were very helpful to the community because they taught people to be more peaceful. He showed how peace would be a benefit to India.

One time when he was convincing the people of India to depend only on themselves for resources, they collected sea salt for themselves. This act is their way of not paying the salt taxes.

Gandhi is the kind of man we can learn from, he didn'’t fight his battles, and he instead talked them out. He was a much liked man by his friends and his enemies surprisingly. The spinning wheel on India’s flag shows their independence through having a spinning wheel in the picture. The spinning wheel means that they make their own clothes and such. It’s the idea of them making their own clothes even if it’s a little idea that shows their independence.

India’s government consists of executive, legislative and judicial branches. They have the Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and more.

Gandhi was a wonderful positive influence on India and a model for the rest of the world.
