George Washington played a very big role in the American Revolution. George Washington will always be remembered as the greatest war hero and tactician of the revolutionary war. Washington did many very important missions in the revolutionary war. Along with France, Spain and 2 of his fellow commanders troops (His own troops as well)
overtook Yorktown under command of general Charles Cornwallis and that marked the end of the revolutionary war. Another key person in the revolutionary war was Benjamin Franklin . Benjamin Franklin was the one who organized and put together the Declaration Of Independence if not for him the colonies might of never of rebelled against the British. Benjamin Franklin did many other good deeds too.
Two Other main people were General Charles Cornwallis And The Parliament & King Grenville . General Charles Cornwallis was one of the greatest British generals of the revolutionary war he survived many defeats but was captured at The Final Battle At Yorktown by George Washington. The Parliament was the British government and they made all the laws. The Actions of the Parliament & King Grenville was partially what sparked the revolutionary war in the first place besides the fact that the British soldiers were violating their homes and rights as citizens of the colonists. General DeGreene was the French general that commanded the fleet that helped the patriots win the revolutionary war from the British. Twice helped defeat the British; Once when the British were going to send reinforcements to the battle at New York and again at The Final Battle Of The Revolutionary War At Yorktown. These were very important key people in the Revolutionary War
