I am going to explain how the end of the First World War and the treaty of Versailles helped Hitler come to power and how he started World War II.
One of the main reasons there was a war in 1939 was because of Hitler himself.
On January 30 1933 Hitler became Chancellor of Germany by promising the people that he would build up Germany and make it strong again.
In his regime he prepared the country for war by teaching boys to fight and girls to look after the home.
He also taught people that Poland and Germany Nabors relay belonged to Germany and that war was necessary so that Germans could have move living space.
This helped lead to war because Germans now wanted to invade Poland.
Another reason there war in 1939 was the British policy of appeasement.
This meant that where Germany re armed the Rhineland even when it violated the treaty of Versailles Britain did noting.
The same thing happened when the German army marched into Austria and united the two countries. Yet when Germany was going to attack the border of Czechoslovakia the British government still negotiated a deal for peace so Germany could have the region. This lead Hitler to believe he could get away with anything so then Hitler took the rest of Czechoslovakia.
So when Britain said that if Germany attacked Poland they would attack Germany but Hitler believed that Brittan would just appease Germany again so he invaded Poland which is another key reason there was war in 1939.
Another reason that there was war in 1939 was that the League of Nations failed to stop Germany and its alleys.
The League of Nations was set up in 1919 In Paris after world war one to prevent any future wars
The League of Nations had a few successes but because it had no army of its own.
So when Germany stared breaking the treaty of Versailles the League of Nations could do nothing to stop Germany form doing so.
So the League of Nations had failed to do what it was set up to do and it failed to prevent world war two.
This helped cause world war two because there was nothing to stop Hitler.
Finally the main reason there was a war in 1939 was the treaty of Versailles.
The treaty made all Germans hate the western allies because it heavily punished Germany for world war one.
The treaty took away lots of Germany's important territories army a navy.
As a result of this Germany nearly collapsed and that gave Hitler a chance to seize power and take revenge.
In conclusion the main reason there was a war in 1939 was the treaty of Versailles because if it helped Germany rebuild its self then asked Germany to pay the county would have been happier and more stable.
So the Germans would not want revenge and Hitler could have not risen to power to start world war two.
