1. Pamper yourself. Manicures, pedicures, facials, or simply taking the time to slip into a hot bath with a good book are often all it takes to unwind.
2. Do as much online shopping as possible. This will save you both time and travel expenses as well as the trouble of packaging and gift-wrapping.
3. Only give according to your means (This includes your time!)
4. Delegate tasks to other friends or family members if possible.
5. Be patient.
6. Keep all things in perspective!
7. Organize a potluck Christmas dinner so that you aren’t a slave to the kitchen and your guests.
8. Remember that it is the time spent with loved ones, not on loved ones that counts.
9. Understand what Christmas is all about (before the age of commercialization)
10. Be grateful for what you have (your family, your health, your wits)
11. Be still.
12. Embrace the love that surrounds you.
