This year, instead of trick-or-treating for candy, consider trick-or-treating for cash for charities.
This year, I’ll be trick or treating for my local humane society.
A couple Tricks for Treats:
- et other people to collect for your cause
- Advertise at school, work, and at stores for trick-or-treating for cash.
- Consider putting stacks of bags (lunch, cloth, grocery, paper…) with your Chosen charities name on it.
- You can ask that people take their donations directly to the charity or you can let people return them to you for donation.
- Costume for your Cause
- Dress up!
- If your charity is an orphanage, dress as an orphan, if it’s for a animal shelter, dress as an animal, etc.
Lastly, be sure to ask before you post any advertisements. Consider talking to your charity and/or getting their support beforehand. And a “no soliciting” sign means you. Be respectful and go to the next house.
