What do we usually think of when we hear the word computer? Well most of us think that it is some kind of a machine that just simply calculates, make and run programs and that's it. The computer is one of the best inventions that anyone has ever come up with, why our whole world is practically run by them. From the increasing use of computers in our lives we might expect a totally computerized future, as these machines can perform tasks, better and faster, that even a human being cannot do. These tasks are related to different fields, which directly or indirectly have a great impact on our livings, but without the use of these computers it would have been extremely difficult or even impossible for us to perform them. The importance of computers in our lives today is almost an essential key part of the way our lifestyles have evolved. In the following paragraphs I will try to explain the expected benefits from the increasing use of computers and how it has computerized our lives.
Computers in Education:
Computers may provide a free environment for learning. Computers improve both teaching and student achievements. Now these machines are used in almost every educational institution. Work with computers - particularly using the internet - brings students valuable connections with teachers, other schools and students, and a wide network of professionals around the globe. These connections broaden the educational community, making it possible for almost everybody living anywhere in the world to acquire knowledge about anything. Researches have clearly shown that there has been a huge increment in the use of computes in schools, colleges and universities every year. Even now there are many recognized online education institutions particularly like "The University of Phoenix" and many more are being developed for people who cannot attend classes in institutions. Even libraries are becoming into online libraries. This online education provides knowledge beyond boundaries, where people can have online lectures, educational materials and even excess to different institutions and libraries around the world. By such a tremendous increase in the use of computers around the education world we might expect 100% literacy rate in the future.
Computers in the Office:
The increasing educational opportunities from the use of computers in turn increase the professional job opportunities. There are millions of websites that provides great opportunities to earn a huge amount of cash every month by investing either few dollars or investing nothing! People can earn more money than persons living the nine to five lives. According to a research almost after every five minutes a person joins the internet community and almost after every eleven minutes a person joins an online job. A person having a degree of arts or science or even if he has no degree or education experience still can earn enough money to live a contended life. So, as opportunities grow more, we might expect 0% poverty rate in the near future.
Computers in Industries:
One of the reasons a computer seems an excellent tool for factories and industries is the attraction it creates upon businessmen by performing different tasks at a time. Computer is a multipurpose machine. The machines that are working in factories all, directly or indirectly, work by using computers. For example before the invention of computers textile businessmen use to heir many people to perform different tasks, where each was given a single job. This resulted more wastage of time and low production of products. Now since even more advance computers have arrived in the market, there has been huge increase in the quality and amount of products. The new machines that work using computers can perform stitching, printing and cutting at the same time better than a human being can do. Same is the case for other computers generated machines and products. With more advancement in computer technology we might expect a good GDP and economy rate in the coming days.
Computers in Medical Sciences:
In the past computer and medical had no relationship between them. But now almost every medical instrument is made by a computer generated machine and all the advance medical machines work on computers. In the past it was even difficult to identify a fracture or a disease in a body. Doctors used traditional and conventional methods that were more painful. But now by using MRI, CT scans and X-rays machines we can not only identify a disease but we can even cure them without any pain. And these machine all work by the help of computers. Even surgeries are done by the help of machines using computer technology. Computer Chips are being fitted into human brains to make humans work more efficiently. These computers have not only advanced medical sciences but also the pharmaceutical sciences. Almost all medicines and life saving drugs are made using computer generated machines. So, as the usage of computers in medical and pharmaceutical sciences increases we can expect quite a healthy future.
