Celebrities have to deal with the media all the time. People who connect to celebrities have to learn first of all how to deal with the media.
Because of celebrity journalism and the popularity of these celebrity shows many of us are learning about the problems of celebrities and also not only as fans but from the point of view of the celebrities themselves.
Of course many people who are not celebrities and think that this is just a glamorous world with people making a lot of money, why should they be concerned about these people.
They are in the workaday world trying to make ends meet, and these people have a lot of money. Why not just destroy them? Many of these celebrities certainly become the objects of many people's frustration and despair and they often focus on these celebrities because many of them don't know who to release this frustration and despair on except many of these public icons, including their political leaders.
People who learn what it's like to have a public career and a public role have to be concerned about this behavior. People who have friends who are public people have to be concerned about it also. In additional, if you are genuinely a fan of many of these people and genuinely are concerned about them, then of course, you become concerned about this problem along with some.
Many fans are genuine, and so certainly they are concerned about some of these celebrities. They enjoy their movies. They appreciate the roles that they play in society, and many of them have added to our civilization in important ways, and so certainly we want them to be able to have great careers, and to be able to do their work in a honorable manner. Many of us are not necessarily interested in becomingn celebrities ourselves, but if we're played the role, and/or if we know people that have played role, and if we are genuine fans, then certainly we are concerned about these people.
Some of us are of a general where we have witness our greatest political leaders being destroyed and discredited. We've witnessed our greatest writers being destroyed and discredited. We've witnessed our greatest celebrity stars being destroyed and discredited. Many of us our genuine in our concerns for them and their well-being even if we don't know them personally and don't necessarily want to know them personally. Certainly those of us who have the opportunity to meet some of these people and get to know them personally and get to like them, certainly we have a concern also.
However, when people do become personal friends of celebrities and celebrity types, these people have to learn that when they become friends with celebrities they are friends of celebrities not ordinary people.
Many celebrities are truly concerned about the well-being of the people who connect to them personally, because they know that their world is not always a glamorous world, and certainly they also know that they are human beings who make mistakes like everybody else. Sometimes even great people that they'd like to know they don't want them involved in the crueler and less glamorous aspects of celebrity.
We know this from the ordinary people who agree to go on talks shows or to talk to some of these journalists types and find out very quickly how cruel is the media, how cruel is the press, how cruel even are their so-called friends. Celebrity types are used to the celebration and the cruelties, most of these ordinary folks are not. Many are quickly and easily destroyed. And they are concerned about this also.
People who have the opportunity to meet the great leaders know that many of these people, including the celebrity leaders, have a genuine concern about the people, and want to play their roles honorably and it's very difficult for them and for the people that connect to them. Certainly for people that don't know them personally, include journalists, it's very easy to criticize and critique. That's there job certainly, but we also witness how these journalists behave themselves when people start to critique also. Mostly they critique. But we witness we they become the subject of critiques, how they behave.
It's the same with Simon Cowell. He critiques others. But we have to witness how does he behave when he becomes the subject of critiques. This is the celebrity world.
However, for many of these celebrities, we don't always know the true person, as many of these celebrities have "stage personas." Sometimes the media creates an image for them that may or may not be that person. Sometimes people who don't have a clue who these people are create an image for them for us. This is also the celebrity world. So do fans often because of their obsessions, wants, needs, desires create an image of their icons that may or may not be these people. Many fans know they are "real people" and understand it, other fans are very naive in the psychology of being a fan and the psychology of being a celebrity.
