Global Warming: A Global Lie

Kathy, a young girl of twelve, stays inside the house all day. Not only does she have school in her house but also her family only orders things off the internet. The mailman runs underground because it's too dangerous to go outside. They have a playground but it is inside the house which takes up valuable space. Every few weeks her and everybody else's families has to go outside to adjust their homes' containment systems. When they do this all of the families are in nearly perfect unison as they get their suits which resemble the kinds that HAZMAT wears. Other than these few minutes where a myriad of people appear, the streets and cities are devoid of life. No, there is not a contagious disease amok. This is the image in most peoples' heads nowadays. They believe that the ozone layer will disintegrate due to Global Warming. This is in fact a global lie. I am not a conspiracist against economists but Global Warming isn't happening to the extent of peoples' imaginations.

There is insufficient evidence to back up peoples' main opinions. Dr. Schneider in Times magazine stated that more than 58% of people who believe in Global Warming couldn't back up their reasoning with solid facts. Most of the things they talk about are false or made up. Even though people say that water levels are rising they really aren't. According to scientists water levels are rising only 1.8 mm per year and with building glaciers, it will most likely be shrinking instead. Even with the small rising temperature the world, in a couple centuries will experience a global reverse of weather. In other words, when it is warming it will get cold very fast and without warning.

Furthermore, a fact is that glaciers are changing all right, they are rapidly building. Only about 17% of glaciers in Antarctica are melting. With Antarctica having the most glaciers of all continents, this means that only a small minority of the glaciers are melting. The rest, about 83% are building up at a quick pace. It is true that glaciers worldwide are melting but only the little ones that people seem to pay close attention to like in Antarctica. More proof is that if the glaciers were melting, the sea levels would be rising more than "1.8 mm a year."

Lastly, most economists try to "destroy" or move information to support what they say. The man who came up with the idea of the Earth warming and present it to the public, said that the earth would warm up .33 degrees every year for the next 10 years in the 1980s. The truth is that it only went up .11 degree each year for about 5-7 years, then the temperature dropped lower. That is a 300% mistake. To make that clear it's like wanting to giving someone 100 dollar bill, but giving him 300 dollars instead. Most graphs saying that this year is the warmest in the last 100 years. That is true but they aren't taking into opinion that in the last 400 years this doesn't even classify to be in the top 5 warmest years.

Global warming is only a worldwide lie made up on one person's opinion that spread like a contagious disease. The facts of the matter are not only inaccurate, but are not viewed at carefully. Support me in this opinion, because I have solid facts and that the facts are backed up by science, the very thing that said Global Warming happening. I know you are smart and can make the right decision. I'm not trying to brainwash you into thinking what I want you to think, and you, as an individual, have the choice to make your own decisions. I'm just asking you to make the right decision.
