There are men who simply deny being the father of the child. There's a huge variety of reasons used in refusing to admit it's his baby. Some of the excuses are reasonable while others are just plain crazy. The prospect of becoming a father can make a man terribly frightened. Other soon to be dads are really excited. And like we see often on Jerry Springer or any day time drama filled talk show, they just want to deny it all together.
One of the most commonly used excuses is she cheated on me. Some men who don't want the responsibility of being a father use this one. She may not have even cheated on him but he will insist that she did so he doesn't have to be the father. But she may have indeed cheated on him. Luckily, there are paternity tests now to prove he is the father. These tests are used on the TV talk shows which lead to either the mother crying or the dad screaming.
Some men who deny being the dad think they simply can't be responsible for this miracle. They may think some one else manlier then they caused this to happen. They most likely don't even think their partner cheated on them. For these kinds of men, they feel it's too good to be true and they are not good enough to make a baby.
Other fathers deny the baby because it does not look like him at all. Not all children look like their fathers, they may resemble other blood relatives such as grandma or an uncle. They also fail to realize that its baby and as a baby grows, their facial features will change. A baby may not look like anyone until it's grown up a bit.
Some may say it's not his because he already has 5 or 6 kids with a few other women and don't wish to support another baby. Those men need to find a better paying job to support all their offspring, instead of flat out denying the child in question. Or they should learn to use forms of birth control which can be easily purchased in any pharmacy.
And the last reason to deny a baby is because he never wanted to be a father. He may be a very nice man but he just doesn't want to be a dad. It was never in his plans. And now that he is a father, he wants to back out a.s.a.p. This kind of man views the baby as an accident. The baby was never meant to be according to this father. So naturally he denies it because he just plainly doesn't want any children ever.
Luckily there are paternity test to figure out the fathers of children in any case of the father denies them. And if he indeed is the father, he may be made to pay child support. This is a good alternative if he doesn't want to see or raise this child, and yet will still be helping the mother take care of the child. Still, if he doesn't want to be a father, he should invest in anti baby devices such as condoms.
