Art will imitate celebrity life on NBC's "Law & Order." In the episode "In Vino Veritas," Chevy Chase guest-stars as a TV celebrity who spews religious epithets after being pulled over by police for drunken driving. The episode is set to air Nov. 3, 2006.
Gibson: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)
Although there are similarities between the episode and Mel Gibson's recent legal troubles, an NBC spokesman noted that the "Law & Order" drama series "is completely fiction."
During Gibson's arrest in Malibu, CA, on the morning of July 28, the actor-director, 50, made anti-Semitic remarks to the arresting deputy. He later apologized but the damage to his career has already been done.
There has even been a game created called " Mad Mel in Malibu - The Game", a Flash-based game on gsn.com, that recreates Mel's drive in animated form, replete with tequila bottles, state troopers, and Star of David-slinging rabbis.

Paris Hilton was charged in Los Angeles for the reason that she was driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level of at least 0.08 percent. Hilton, 26, was pulled over on Sept. 6, shortly after leaving a charity party at Hollywood hot spot Dragonfly.

Hilton could be sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,000 if convicted for her DUI charges.
