I've heard it over the radio, viewed it through television, read it in the newspaper and surf it through the internet. Even in our localities we have heard that most women, especially the unmarried ones, are doing such mortal sin.
The world now is very discouraging! We have done sins that can be considered big and shall I call it “hard to forgive”. It is evident that the Lord does not want us to make such mortal sin! Killing a fetus is killing life, killing an individual! And it is punishable by the law, both here on earth and in heaven.
The Lord wanted us to reproduce and not to seduce, to have a healthy lifestyle and not stay in the darkness of sins, to create a happy family and not to destroy it, to let life come to earth and not to prevent it!
As individuals, we have responsibilities attached to our privileges. One of the privileges that we have is the fact that we are here on earth and we do not pay for the air we breath and the life we have as a whole. Considering the fact that our parents brought us to this earth or give us chance to experience life, we should also not hinder the life that is surely a gift of God.
Abortion is really not a good choice even if it will keep you away from shame. You may have protected yourself from shame and bad consequences of pregnancy but you have to think that you are now a killer, a killer of your own child, the blood of your blood and the flesh of your flesh. Just bear in mind that the Lord wanted us to be always on the right track. Also, we must have to be responsible for the effects of our own actions. The thing is “Look before you leap!”
Let us all pray that abortion may stop! That those who have done it will not do it again and those who have not done it will not do it! Let's stop abortion…in the name of love!
