A common culprit is the parents themselves. Teens do violent acts because the guardian or parent did not teach them the difference between right and wrong and fantasy and reality. This leads to thinking that what they see in the media they can get away with in real life. Another culprit is modern media. They show everything on TV now a days. There are some restrictions on what you can show but teens will always try what they see on TV.
What is worse the fact that some celebrities are not helping by being shown scantly clad outfits and doing just plan idiotic activities like going to night clubs and getting so drunk you can hardly stand. Some celebrities need to realize they are being watched and they are role models for adolescents. A worse culprit is peer pressure. In today's society social acceptance is a thing teens stride for and sometimes they gain social acceptance from the wrong people. So if you are a parent you should talk to your kid about what they see on TV, who they look up to, who are there friends, what are there friends doing. This alone could possibly save your child from danger.
What is another bad thing about teen violence is that it can lead to other risky behaviors.
Some of them are joining a gang, drugs, unprotected and under age sex, and more to add. The reason teen violence leads to other things is because there is some kinda peer who thought that was cool and accepting them for that act and most likely this peer will lead them to do the other risk behaviors. Teen violence is like alcohol or cigarettes and once you start it is kinda hard to stop and may even send you looking for more things that are more dangerous. If your parent try to convince your kid to join a sport, an art, or even just a club so they can avoid all these.
Most importantly of all who are the victims. The victims are most likely going to be other teens. This because they are around them alot. The thing is when a teen is a victim in an act of violence they may want to either not want to talk about it or get revenge. Then this will start a chain. A long, pain full, and sad chain. Parents are also victims. They have to stand by and watch as their kid is doing these things and then when it is over have to punish them. It never any easy thing to do. Another victim is the teens own friends. They have to set by and watch their friend become something they do not like. There are some many victims in teen violence.
Teen violence is preventable. Anybody van prevent like say an adult, sibling, or friend. The one important thing you do is act.
