The Real Cost of Ethanol

It is a crime how high gas prices are.

Many people say ethanol as a substitute for oil is a good thing. I disagree ethanol is causing corn prices to go up which is a bad thing with already rising food prices. Ethanol causes both beef and corn prices to rise. Why is that you ask? Well for starters many people eat corn and if corn is used as fuel then more corn will be needed for food and fuel. Beef is a thing many people eat and most cows eat grain as well as corn which means more corn will be used for cows, humans, and fuel.

The reason gas prices are so high is because many oil companies in middle east are doing something very foolish and are angering the world. This is an example of what I mean. For example is an oil company dug up 1000 barrels of oil a day. They have now decided to dig only 500 barrels therefore increasing the price of oil which is used to make gas.
