War. What is the purpose of this bloody right which has taken place since the beginning of time? The Webster’s Dictionary defines war as: an open and confirmed armed hostility between state or a nation.
I will tell you what the purpose of war is. The purpose of war is to prove that you and your country will not be stepped on. War is the foundation of government. For example let’s look at our own wonderful country United States of America. America was founded from the American Revolution. If we had let the British continue increasing our taxes then we would still be a British colony, but because we stood up to the British bullies and had a war we proved that we were not chicken.
We in the present we have a similar situation. It’s called the War in Iraq. Many brave souls have gone fought to prove that America is not a chicken, but a wonderful peace loving country. Many agree that the War in Iraq is a waste of time and that it is ruining families and lives. That is somewhat correct, but war managed to pop is ugly dead head in our faces once again. This war is especially dangerous. If you chose not to believe this then remember Saddam Hussein. He was hung because he got to far in to this war that he was caught and executed by hanging. This war in the eyes of many is the worst war ever.
War. I can honestly say that war is good yet bad. It defines a country’s boldness yet it has to send people to their death. So I say yeah and nay for war.
