Two years later I was in desperate need of a job, and Mr. F. had called a couple weeks ago, so I called him back and went back to work for him. This was the biggest mistake I would ever make, and I will regret it for a very long time. The first week I started back everything seemed okay, and then it went down hill from then on. I knew he talked about me behind my back, he does this to everyone, I just kept telling myself, well maybe he is leaving someone else alone, but I was wrong. He was telling everyone I was stealing, and saying really bad stuff about me. I just kept coming to work and doing my job, even though every morning I had to work, I would throw up, and feel very sick, all day. I hated this man, hated my job, but I really needed the money, so I continued to work. But, when he started getting in my personal business, and downing my family, I had enough.
I asked for that Saturday off knowing for well he was going to take me off the schedule, see that is what he would do, he wouldn't fire you, he just didn't work you, that way you couldn't draw unemployment. This time I had gone in with I don't give a shit attitude and he knew it, so I knew it wouldn't be long before he got rid of me, anyway a week after that he told one of the other waitress's to call me and tell me, I wasn't needed right now but when he needed me he would call. I have a friend who still works there and she tells me he still treats people the same way, I just don't understand why no one does anything. I mean his abuse is not only toward his employee's, but customer, and others. I really don't get why not even the city official can do anything. I mean he gives wine to underage people, his establishment has many health code violations, he has bad customer service, and above all he screws anyone and everyone, over charging, cheating people, stealing from his wait staff and so much more. How does he stay in business? I keep telling myself that someday, someone will stand up and say no more, but when will that happen I just don't know. This man is the biggest Bully in Denison, Texas, and everyone who knows him knows this, and no body does a thing to stop it.
I know now that I could have sued him, but what good with that do, he will just convince someone else that I was lying, I have thought very hard about what to do, so I decided to write about it , in hopes that some one will read it and take a stand. It only takes one person, and others I promise will join in. It also makes me wonder how many other business's tolerate this kind of abuse, bullies have no place in the work place and they need help, they are sick individuals and they need to be stopped. There has got to be someone out there who knows what to do and how to do it, I just hope they have the balls to do it. To tell you the truth I have always been very frightened of this man, I really believe he might do something to me or my family, but I have to write this for me and for others just like me. God, gave me a mind and words and it is time for me to use this gift from God, the ability to write.
People must stop and think is the money I am making worth being bullied, and better yet is it worth my health and mentality. I have decided to write letters to Congress, The State Senator, The Governor and even the President if I have too, some body has to take a stand against Bullies In The Workplace and I am going to do my part.
