Violent Games Vs. a Young and Vulnerable Mind

My rant over the exposure of the younger peoples of society to the extremely violent games and how it impacts their developments and behaviors.

These days a lot of the games seen in the market are extremely scary, gory, or unnecessarily violently themed, not many games are produced without some theme of violence in them. I am not saying it is bad for a little violence but games like God of War or any of the GTA series is not something for younger kids to be playing. This is not new, this topic is and has been subject to discussions, rants, and ravings over the past years and will not stop. Personally I play a lot of violent games and I see how it could affect a younger person's mind. It extremely screws up their development if introduced early on. Examples are most any kid now, you find 8 year olds using racial slurs, foul language, and implying things way out of their age groups. Although this is sometimes a family influenced problem, there are still many who get it from games. I mainly write on this today for the parents who happen to see this, please watch what your child sees and hears.
