We all know that due to fall of Wall Street not only the United States of America, not only Americans but also his allies including Pakistan are facing huge problem of foreign exchange reserves. Moreover, the prices of basic commodities are increased from twenty percent to seventy six percent.
As citizens of this state called Islamic Republic of Pakistan, keep on blaming the governments since 1947 for all the problems and do not understand our responsibility for this homeland. All of us just talk and feel proud to blame others or the government but no one wish to be patriotic and repair these old systems of slaves given by the British as gift in 1947. Have we ever realized how much foreign exchange is used in importing basic items including tea, cooking oil, even pencil and pointer pens. Is it like shame to us for using local items, which not only can save a big amount of foreign exchange but grow our local industries as well? This is only method to stabilize our economy and get on the track of developing countries. The biggest examples for us are Malaysia, China and India.
We are not patriotic to our motherland. Commonly we associate patriotism with war. However, it is originally means to defend the country and its constitution. The average person can be a patriot by doing little extra efforts that can make our country a better place. We are running out of time and must think seriously, about how we can positively contribute to the economy of our own country. For a better economy will surely lead us to a better Pakistan and better future for our children. We must stop shifting blames and looking to the government. We must focus on improving the economy by changing our own habits to create a change in system slowly and gradually. Remember, the love of one's country includes attachment to the country's land and people, admiration for its customs and traditions, pride in its history.
