Civilization is spreading into the country at a disastrous rate, with a large number of animal species being threatened due to this phenomenon. Urban Sprawl is the sprawling of towns and cities out from the main center without any real planning or control.
These suburbs that result from urban sprawl have many social, economic and environmental issues. Ranging from drugs, alcohol, poverty and many other factors, this causes a cycle of poverty making it hard for teenagers to escape the trap that is the poverty cycle.
Urban sprawl is a major issue and needs to be addressed by local governments and councils around the world.
