When you search a group where most of them have done nothing wrong, the school violates their fourth amendment right because they have no proof against them.
I deem this to be true because if there is no reason to search the students you have no right to be testing them for illegal drug use. You first need to gather evidence against them to begin searching them. Also, if the student is not doing illegal drugs but has to take prescription medication, which might make the test inaccurate then the innocent student is arrested for something he/she never did. Schools are governmentally run, so they should follow the laws in which the constitution specifically states.
I disagree with random drug testing, but if you test students that have had evidence brought against them the schools should have the right to test that student for illegal drugs without a warrant. This gives the school enough power to keep the students and community safe while still letting the innocent keep their privacy. But being able to search people with no probable cause and no warrant is giving the schools too much power. It is also unjust and should be made illegal to carry out. It is already giving the schools a lot of power to search a student with out a warrant, let alone with out a probable cause.
