Honorificabilitudinitatibus is a word used by Costard in act five, scene one of William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. It is (in the quotation) the ablative plural of the medieval Latin word honorificabilitudinitas, which can be translated as "the state of being able to achieve honours." Appearing only once in Shakespeare's works, it is a hapax legomenon.

Very Nice! I like the list.

Great and fun article. This is not a longest word, I just thought of it while reading your article. One word which has all the vowels only once is 'education'(it may also be the longest).

Thanks for the comments MindIt and Anne.

@ Anne
The word I have written is the longest word with just one vowel. Not the longest word with all the vowels just once.
