Learn a set amount of words each week

For example, each week learn 5 new words and try to say them as much as possible. (Make sure not to overdo it!) Try to use them when they would be appropriate.

Skim through a dictionary and find interesting words

Try to find words you may use too much and find substitutes

If you need to spice up your vocabulary, this works best for you. Good and “nice become quite boring after a while. Use things like fantastic or pleasing to be with.

Pay attention to the vocabulary of others

If you find new words, find their definitions and repeat them to yourself, and use them in casual conversation.
