Scotland is no doubt a very beautiful place to be. The lush green highlands, the tartan quilts, the famous lochs (lakes) and obviously the Scottish booze. The Scotch. It is very different than the England part. People up north (Scotland) are kind of more relaxed and friendlier. However, down south (England) is much different and over loaded. Whether, it's the people or the business or the buildings or even the houses. I was amazed to see such a huge difference between the two places even though, Britain is such a small island. Having had so many things different, they take pride in their individuality.
I found the Scottish Dialects to be quite interesting. It is English and its not! As a matter of fact, Scottish schools have normal English classes just as in English Schools. There is no subject/ language called Scottish in their schools. But when you are there, everyone, obviously, seems to be talking Scottish.
I learnt some dialects. Some, are quite funny that I would like to share with you. When you visit a Scottish family, believe me, these sentences will surely be handy.
