In some countries around the world their exists freedom and justice. Although it is hard to believe that slavery still exists, but we must accept the truth that slavery is still allowed in some countries around the world today. In America, their exists democracy, everyone is free to do what they want, pursue their dreams, only bound by a single, weak set of laws created by the government.
I believe Will Smith said it best in the movie "I Robot", "Some laws are made to be broken". Laws does not stop a criminal from committing crimes, nor does it stop anyone from speeding.
The first reason laws are not effective is because it is human nature to defy authority. Second, laws are created by humans which doesn't make them perfect. Would you do something that you know is wrong but is with the law? or would you do what you believe is right no matter what anyone or the law states but you understand it is the right thing to do.
As you can see,we must not rely on a basic set of laws to tel us what is right or wrong! We must use determine for ourselves and know the difference of right and wrong.
