China's One Child Policy

Chinese population has become a problem. They are now trying to control it with a one child policy.

In China, the population density is three hundred and forty four people per square mile, which is about four times greater than the United States population density.

The government decided to take action to help the country with the overpopulation problem by using birth control law. Each family can only have one child. Many parents began abandoning their baby girls and sex-selective abortions to be able to comply with the new one child law.
