If there are people who are suffering in most countries, are the physically disabled persons whom, majority of them have opted to begging on the streets but when it comes to voting during the general elections of there leaders, these category are the first to be requested to turn out and vote at the course of the elections.
After them (politicians), being made victorious, they are left to languish in poverty and languish on the streets. As a proof, it is unfortunate that in every town in any country within the world, you never fail to come across a physically disabled person seeking sympathy from the public who are also facing the challenges of an inflated economy.
Our leaders, whom we elect after every constitutionally stipulated year, have really failed and wronged these categories of people by not assuring them that solution is not being on the streets but as the saying goes “never give a fish alone but teach him or her on how to fish”. Due to the economic obstacles, many physically challenged people have had to imprisoned at the grassroots despite their mass participation during the general election of their “representatives” who later turn to backbite them through inflated taxes and being completely forgotten for many years with an addition of empty promises.
It is not that, there is no possible solution to their problems, but due to neglect, they have had to suffer and opted to prioritize on the streets. Most people of these categories due to joint neglect from the society and their respective governments have not had a taste to any schooling, good quality life, Rights, freedoms, good health, and all that makes the whole humanity in any country.
This is a clear indication that the constitutional, legislative policies, are bias to specific category of people and it omits others. This means that for the case of my county, Kenya, the impending comprehensive constitutional reforms should be the surety of equal opportunities to all minus any form of capitalizing the problems of others.
