Butterflies are insects with long thin bodies and four large brightly colored wings that fly.
Biologically, the butterfly helps in the fertilization processes of plants. This helps in reproduction. Apart from this the butterfly helps in signifying or sending messages to man which mainly people have not yet understand or observed.
Symbolically, if you have observed, when a butterfly flies into your room, it denotes the arrival of a visitor and with a short time the visitor would come.
The various colours of the butterfly denotes the personality and temperament of the person coming for the visit and the role he or she would play during the course of his or her stay.
If the butterfly flies into a room where people are many and perches on someone, the visitor would be solely for that person it perches on.
What ever part of a person body it touches, it has a meaning and if you observe critically its presence in your environment would always give you an insight into the nature of your visitors.

Insects and animals through their mode of behaving, give us signs that are useful to us and we have got to find out these things. For example I know now that butterfly flies into a room and stays for a long time within the room, it means the visitor would stay for a longer period with you.
