Eight Steps to a More Manageable and Happier Life |

If you follow all or some of these eight recommendations, you will find that your life will become more orderly, more manageable and happier, and that you will begin to have a sense of mastery over the hectic pace of modern living. |
- Buy a weekly desk calendar and carefully plan your days and your weeks. List everything that you want to remember. Be sure to check it every day.
- Try to make each day more manageable by setting aside some time for rest and relaxation.
- Shift responsibilities around so that you dont have too many tasks to accomplish in one day.
- Get as much help with your responsibilities as you can afford, or ask friends and family to help you, if needed. (Dont try to be a hero.)
- Learn to say no to the excessive demands of others.
- Regularly take some time for yourself thats free from responsibility, so the you can reflect, enjoy and recharge your energies.
- Try not to be a perfectionist. Perfectionists are hard on themselves and others.
- Dont compare yourself to others. Take pleasure in your own accomplishments.
