Having provided an overview of the subject matter, it should be clear by now that although different people have different situations in life, most have the option to enjoy whatever there is. The real poverty refers to those who do not have enough to eat or wear and those who have no shelter.
Now if those who have more than enough for themselves give to those who lack basic needs, nobody will go hungry. All will have clothes. No one should be without a shelter.
In every country, there is a government empowered to tax. There should be churches in charge of distributing donations for the needy. And those who are fortunate enough to earn more than what they need to live a good life and to have some amount of savings ought to help others who failed. But our world is imperfect. Substantial amounts of taxes are plundered by corrupt officials. Instead of feeding the hungry, some churches continue to allocate more for unnecessary purposes as though blind to the beggars and skinny, hungry, poor children. Some businessmen keep their millions or billions for themselves instead of plowing back most of their wealth to generate productive endeavors that employ fellowmen. Thus, the prophecy says that the meek will inherit the earth.
Such a prophecy cannot be understood except by faith. We all know how rich and poor have conscience. That conscience knows the importance of justice. If I say there will be justice in the end, almost all people can sense its meaning without having to be logical. Rewards will be for people who obeyed the calling of their humane conscience to care for the less privileged, while punishments await owners of callous conscience.
We cannot judge some people who are guilty. However, this world is a creation of an Almighty Being who knows the innermost character or person. Nothing can be hidden from our Creator. Judgement will be rendered by God. Then the meek will inherit the earth. As sure as the Sun rises each morning and sets, whether or not the clouds cover its appearance, there will be judgement so that justice will be done. There are very many obvious signs aside from the pattern of the Sun, the rise and fall of Empires, and the birth and death of any human being. We know how brief physical life is. If those who are poor will suffer less than a hundred years of poverty in the presence of those who could have cared for them while alive, it will be far less severe compared to what prophets described as Eternal Damnation or Hell for people who did not follow their conscience and obey the Laws.
Knowing these, there is a valid reason for even the less privileged to choose to be happy. Their success will turn out to be by mere patience. Not all will be vindicated. Those who did their best to believe and wait patiently will be blessed. It is they who will weep with joy and certainly not the wicked.
I encourage everyone to learn the truth directly by reading the Scriptures. For those who studied this history of salvation, like biblical scholars, it is also known as the Gospel of Truth.
That same revered communication says, "The fear of the Lord is the begining of Wisdom."
Happiness can be for a short while. If anyone wants to ensure that there will be a lasting, long-term joy, foresight must be brought to mind almost always. A very clear example is the happiness sought after by adventurous young people. Suppose they resort to drugs, we all know they get a temporary feeling of satisfaction, but only to discover a lot of troubles later. This example is something society knows about because many have seen the evil behind those vices and the consequences of falling into drug addiction. How about those instances hidden from the view of people ? Corruption, deception, unfairness, and more ? Can the sly or cunning get away with such actions ? People will never discover all the truth. But that which people cannot judge will eventually receive a corresponding judgement in a spiritual world.
An example of the condemnation can be read within the Ten Commandments. "I, the Lord, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their fathers' wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation; but bestowing mercy down to the thousandth generation, on the children of those who love me and keep my commandments." This is for the Christian doctrine.
Would you want your children to be cursed ?
In another belief, you must have heard of "Bad Karma" . And also consider that a similar understanding by a different faith is about human beings being turned into lower forms of life because of the behavior they showed as men or women. Those whose appetite resemble pig's appetite can become pigs. Those who act like snakes can be turned into snakes.
People who do what is right and just are crowned with glory -- the glory of genuine success and lasting happiness. We should be aiming for these.
