Hardships

Are for a reason.

I truly believe we go through hardships for a reason. I believe they propel us forward on a path that we truly want to be on, but are feeling too afraid to venture toward or maybe our lives have become comfortably complacent.

When true emergencies, traumas, etc. occur they push us toward change whether we like it or not at the moment. They push us toward ways to survive, to get us out of a situation that is threatening to our well being.

Recently, I have been through more hardships than I want to go into, but in the end after it is all said and done, I have ended up with closer relationships to some people that I want to have in my life in the long run. I have also ended up with a new job that has the potential to bring me in more income than I have ever made in my life from a job.

Irony, a cruel trick of nature; no, I believe the things I went through propelled me forward to do some things I had been previously terrified to do. I suddenly realized that the things that I feared about those things were miniscule in comparison to the hardships I was facing. Anything was better than staying in a situation that made me literally sick. At one point I ended up with a fever of almost 103 degrees. It quickly went away as soon as that particular threat to my well-being dissipated.

Now, I must stay firm and stick to the direction my heart has been pulling me toward. Sometimes it is difficult. You want to turn back, run away and go back toward the life that felt comfortable and known, even if it wasn't the best for you. But, in your heart you know that the more you take care of your friends, the more you take care of yourself. You know that the more time you spend in peace and tranquility the more that you will recognize this quality in others and find more people with like minded energy and spiritual paths in life.

Trust your heart, trust your mind, and trust your instincts. Treat yourself as you would a best friend. Treat yourself as you would a precious little child; after all, that little child is still inside of all of us.

Dear Liane,
I'm so so sorry that you are going through all of this.
You're strong and so good, words can seem trite now, but
know that you will and are doing the right thing. Happiness
and good health will be yours again soon.

Take good care!

Liane,

Thank you for all your thoughtful words! I believe you 1000%!! I believe we all go through "hardships" for a reason, and you hit the nail on the head! Yes, we all do need to find that "child of the past" within each of us & go with the "feeling" & we'll all be a lot more relaxed and happier!
Keep the words of inspiration coming!

Sincerely,

Lila Huson
