Are you dissatisfied with your life, unhappy at work, or having money worries? Freedom is something we all want, but many of us are not sure how to acquire it, or even what we mean by it. Freedom suggests infinite possibility, a beautiful and inspirational word. However, the goal is not doing everything and anything; freedom is about creating a life, where we do all sorts of things. Freedom-seeker aspires to build variety and creativity in work and in life. Everyone possesses the potential to enjoy and create freedom. It is independent of outer circumstances; freedom is not about having money, nor having more time. Everyone can enjoy a life in freedom.
Create thinking time
Use the limits and boundaries in your life to your advantage. It is possible to walk away from the limits you set, and follow your passions and interests more fully. Create some serious thinking time and discover what it is that you want. Long walks, long baths, or long cycle rides, all aid the creation of good ideas. Ask yourself what freedom means to you.
Be Aware of the Moment
Find the confidence to reinvent yourselves and take responsibility for your choices in life. If you do not like it, change it. Alternatively, accept it. Being aware of what is happening in the present moment allows you to take control and responsibility for your thoughts and focus on the moment. Your life is happening now. Worrying about the future is not helpful. You have to act in the present, if you are going to do anything about the future.
Take responsibility
Many trappings are of our own making. The good thing is that if they are of our own making, then we can unmake them. Freedom means you are not stuck to false ambition or other people's expectations. Freedom comes from within you. Actions by others are not as important as we tend to believe. Ask yourself if you are using others as a reason not to challenge your own actions.
Think Positive Thoughts
Life is shaped according to your thoughts. Choose to think positive, happy and enriching thoughts. Think about and imagine what you truly desire. To change an undesirable habit, we have to be aware of it, and consciously act in a different manner. Our mind is a great instrument, but it should not rule our lives. Habits can be undone.
Be Less Aware of Time
Letting events drive your activities rather than the clock is a great way of feeling in control of time. Experience life every now and then without time controlling you, and try to spend time without your watch. Keep a diary to see how you spend your time, and you may be surprised by the amount of "Spare-time" that you do have. Think about how you use your time, and see how you can do things differently. More focus is more important than more time.
