The hardest part to learn is just accepting that the Universe (or whatever you want to believe is behind the Law) will provide. Once you accept this belief into your very being, things will begin to happen.
And that's how it started for me.
I think I have always used the Law without realizing it - I had always believed that old adage of “where there's a will, there's a way” and generally things have moved in the direction I have wanted them to go.
For example, one day my partner wanted to buy a piece of land that he'd always admired, but when it came down to the signing, a previous owner appeared to have put a clause on the land deed, as he did not want it built out, giving him the right to out-bid any interested parties. My partner, not being very forthright, withdrew without a fight.
I remember at the time thinking to myself “I can't help feeling that this isn't entirely over, but we'll see.” And then I promptly forgot about it - it was his dream, not mine.
Months later my partner heard from the seller to say the previous owner had waived his rights, leaving the way clear for the sale; was my partner still interested?
Hell yeah!
With all the stress at work, I turned to meditation, combining that with visualization techniques (many can be found on the Web) and discovered a whole new way to de-stress, while living the feeling of calmness and wealth. It also did wonders for my ulcer!
Don't ever be tempted to go off the deep end; losing your temper and harboring ill kept thoughts about people in your life can have a whip-lash effect by turning good luck to bad. I have seen it in action and been the recipient of several bad turns of events. Having experienced these first hand, I am convinced that staying positive and living as close to being neutral as it's possible to be, makes a huge difference in our lives.
Be nice - be happy!
Go one step further and help those in need - make donations, even when you don't think you can afford it - you will be repaid 10-fold! If your heart is in it, go ahead and feel good about giving! These feelings are not only good for the soul, but they help those who can't help themselves (and so too you will reap the rewards.)
I began to visualize my partner's land with what I term as my dream home - nothing fancy, but a warm, inviting and cozy home, a tunnel house and gardens, an orchard and veges, a wind turbine and solar panels.
My partner's dream is much like my own, to live in the country not far from town, but far enough to enjoy the quiet life, to grow veges, have an orchard, and even go off-grid with wind and solar power. His slice of heaven (his parcel of land) is just the thing, having a high vantage point and fantastic views of the coast. Together, we are now looking at building a house on the land.
It never ceases to amaze me how my own dream is silently being fulfilled by the actions of others - that I even found a partner who wanted the same things as myself, and through his own dreams, mine are being manifested.
Yes, we would all love to win the Lottery, but most times we don't need big money to live a fulfilling life.
Now - to manifest my dream job - to become a successful novel writer, and work from my studio lounge (that just happens to exist in my visual dream-house.)
My new life has only just begun - and so can yours.
