When I was on break I noticed there were a lot of News worthy events going on. My computer was down so I was unable to even type up any new material. Needless to say, I am cutting my break short. I read in an article there was something going on called "earth hour" I have some thoughts on that. What makes people think turning lights off for an hour is going to do anything for the planet when the damage we've done to our planet has taken years to manifest?
Am I the only one that thinks "Lights Out" is too little too late? If you really Love the planet, why is it that I didn't hear anything about "earth hour" 10 or 15 years ago when I was growing up?
I think humanity realizes now that we have done more damage to our planet than any natural disaster ever could. I am not against bettering our planet, I just think we should have thought about it sooner.
This earth's resources will pass away eventually,it is only a question of timing.
I think people are starting to realize, however late, that we are in fact speeding up the process.
We should make the best of what little time we have left and instead of creating more chaos, wars, and hatred, we should be sharing kindness and Love with our fellow human beings.
This life is not for our self indulgence, this world is full of people who are without hope and going through life with little or no direction. God put us on this planet for a purpose, to Love and fellowship with Him and one Another. If we would share Love instead of spreading hate, then the time each of us is blessed with on this planet would be used far more productively.
Food For Thought, Share The Love.
