Sometimes love can find itself rearing its ugly head of greed. Some may say, “Well how can love be both greedy and kind.”
Love is greedy because the one you fall in love with sucks up your time, like a vacuum he or she continues to suck and suck your life away. This measure of time can't bought back, replenished or replaced.
Love is greedy simply because it just like the common case of greed, it just can't get enough, and it always looks for the next opportunity for more and more. To love someone is not a sin, as a matter of fact, God is love and he ordains the fellowship of love through the substance of marriage. Yet love can be dangerous if both hearts can rarely agree on the one thing that brought them together.
So why do we love? And what makes that significant other so special? We all know that everyone comes out of the womb the same and will die to the grave.
Why does one put so much interest in one person than they do all others? That's the part when biblical doctrine meets new world theory, and based upon societies neglect of love in this era, biblical doctrine wins every time.
Even though love is greedy it can be rewarding at the same time. The same person whom vacuums up your time is often the person whom spends time with you at the doctor, takes you to the movies, dines with you, walks with you, talks to you more often and even helps you out with your business.
Yes, love can be greedy and the person whom is receiving this type of love is guilty of greed as well. Don't take love as just another word, take love as the life you strive to live for perfection through Jesus Christ.
