Make the Most of Your Time

Taking a brave new step to start my own blog. It's a part of my ultimate writing dreams. If you want to start your own blog, you can too.

I have recently decided to take a brave new step in the broader advancement of my ultimate writing dreams.

Independently I have tried to start an editing business, a website and several blogs along the way. I worked on each one until with time something about each one didn't feel right and fell to the wayside.

Now, I have finally started another blog “Make The Most of Your Time”.

This time it feels right. It feels like me; it feels like a blog that accurately reflects my heart and what I want the world to see as a complete product of my own imagination, experience and work. I had previously published two short posts about a month or two ago, but recently I have been posting new blogs to it on a daily basis. Within the past few days, I have already received more views than I had anticipated which I believe is a great start.

As I write on this blog, I find that it is best to ideally write posts in the morning. When you do this, you logically receive more views because people have more time to read your work. Because I work a full time job Monday thru Friday, currently I have been posting at night and I find that I receive about half the views I would have, had I posted the same blog in the morning. But half is better than nothing.

It has always been a part of my dream to become financially independent and be able to have plenty of free time while my writing continued to endlessly “bring in the bucks” for me. I see writing and publishing to sites like Triond and other blog sites as a long-term financial investment. Every month my income from Triond increases. One of my best articles published on Triond “B12 Shots: The Newest Energy Booster” is only one page in length and has to date earned approximately $100.

When I compare this accomplishment to book sales I realize that most books on average cost about $10. This means that from one article alone I have sold an equivalent of 10 books. That's quite an extraordinary feat when you think about it. In total, I have published about 390 articles with Triond. As all my articles continue to grow in readership and views, I know that my dreams will come true. And, just as Triond is able to pay it's writers, your own independent blog will generate great, limitless volumes of earnings by Google Adsense ads and other such ad placements that you will be able to obtain as your blog grows in popularity and viewership.

But, I must reemphasize that becoming financially independent off independent writing takes much work. For example, some of my articles on their own due to their title, the information, etc. have enjoyed more views and continue to grow in view numbers everyday while others I need to just promote a bit more by posting links to them when and where I can. I see the entire writing endeavor as a process sort of like throwing a small pebble into a lake. It's only one pebble, but that pebble has a profound effect on the stillness of the water and slowly sends ripples throughout the entire surface. The more pebbles, the greater the effect and so forth.

So, here is another pebble to let my fellow Triond community about my new blog which I am very proud of and to remind them that you can make all your dreams come true. When you love something with all your heart, your thoughts and actions will naturally lead you in the direction of reaching and accomplishing them.

This is a very insightful article, Liane. I started out of an endeavour of my own and found that what you say is very true about time. I had trouble in the beginning dividing my time because I was leaving no time for myself. I may not work outside the home but I still find that if you don't use your time wisely, writing becomes a chore instead of a pleasure.

Your article is first rate, as always.
