Lately I have tried to live according to The Law of Karma. What is Karma you would ask. Karma could simply be defined as your actions and their effects. In more simpler words, to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Thus, I have decided to live by that law, The Law of Karma, my Karma. So when I wake up everyday, I bear in my mind that all my acts will have consequences. Positive or negative, it all depends on me. So, I start my day by trying to be as positive as possible. Recently in my Reiki class, I was taught that if you have positive thoughts and attitude, your surrounding will become positive. If you are negative, you can attract nothing more than negativity. Same applies for blessings. The most you bless people around you (genuinely), the more blessings you will receive.
So, I start my day by blessing the ones I love, like my husband, my sisters, my family etc... Of course there are times when you get so angry at some people you know that there is no way you'll want to bless them. Then i simply try not to wish them ill thought the temptation is high.
Quite surprisingly, it is not difficult to be nice. There is no need to go around shouting that you love and bless everyone at the top of your voice. Simply live and let live. If things go bad just bear in mind that somewhere somehow you must have triggered such events. Law of Karma. Do good now to reap the fruits later.
On the road while driving, just relax, no tension. Listen to some cool music and plan things in your head meanwhile. At home when the kids are being naughty, do show your irritation and reprimand them without beating or shouting at them out of frustration.
Be at peace with yourself first. Look at the bright side of life. Share what you can, may it be your happy mood, a joke or even your smile. Think about today and all the good you can accomplish.
Go to sleep thinking about how you can brighten your Karma tomorrow. Wake up with a smile and a positive thought. Simply bear the Law of Karma in mind and life can be so simple and easy.
